Bathroom Closet Reset

There’s something about a small reset that makes everything feel lighter.

This bathroom closet had slowly become a bit of a catch-all for us—half-used products, overstuffed bins, and things we didn’t even realize we were holding onto. It wasn’t terrible, but it made everyday routines feel more chaotic than they needed to be.

So I decided to reset it. I cleared everything out, wiped down the shelves, and gave the space a fresh coat of paint. Then I went through everything and kept only what we actually use, letting go of the rest. From there, it was just about creating a little structure. I grouped like items together, added a few baskets, and folded everything in a way that felt calm and consistent. The things we reach for daily are easy to grab, and everything else finally has a place. Nothing complicated—just a small, intentional shift. And now it feels so much better. Calm, functional, and easy to keep up with, which is really all I wanted.

The Approach

Notes

You don’t need a full overhaul to make a space work better. A little editing and a few small systems go a long way.
